Organic Garden

Yogashala has a small organic garden ; with natural indigenous plants and trees; fruit trees like passion fruit ; pomegranate; fig trees; sour fig and prickly pear. We are planting indigenous plants and herbs. Our garden is fed by grey water and collected rain water. Guests are welcome to get involved with the garden ; or donate a tree or plants to our Yogashala / Community garden initiative. We are involved in a broader Community initiative to plant indigenous trees as part of preserving a green belt ; close to the township ; for everyone to enjoy. We also support community township gardens through our centre in Masiphumelele.
